God is just as responsible for the common practice of baby mutilation, as the kikes that actually perform them. God is all knowing right...so he would have known what those versus in the bible would lead to. And any amount of baby mutilation is bad...to say oh well it was just the tip back then is retarded. Its mutilation.
...assuming you believe the bible is actually God's word
>"God is just as responsible for the common practice of baby mutilation,..."
LOL. 'Flabbygasted' is judging God Himself. It amazes that some people actually believe they are all-knowledgeable. Circumcision is not a Christian practice.
I'm saying god is responsible if the bible is an accurate representation of his word. Do you think the bible is an accurate representation of God's word?
This is a surprisingly involved question as I will soon indicate. When you say- "bible", there are many different bibles, in which there are two main categories. Are you referring to the Masoretic Text or the Septuagint Text? From there, the answer is in several varying degrees. The short answer is that all bibles are errant at different levels. This is in my view accelerating in the modern age. There are also many books of the Bible. I have one that has a book that is not found in Masoretic Texts. I don't believe the book of Ezra belongs in the bible. I also believe the Didache should be included into he bible, but it is not. There are other books that were most definitely included in the original Paleo-Hebrew bible that are now not included. For example, the book of Enoch. So, the "Word of God" question is far more complicated.
Notwithstanding, it is also the reason why I study the original Greek so that I can understand the original definitions themselves. In fact, I have many early bibles that I cross reference in the attempt to discern a better overall understanding. Of course, the foundation of all bibles is the decalogue, which in turn, is ultimately based on Nature's Law. Adamic Law is really these laws as they pertain to man. Nature contains the immutable order of the great Holy (separated) Spirit (Pneuma). Using this as a constant guide, the translations becomes readily clear to their meaning. I could provide many examples of this and also how Scripture has been twisted into erroneous meanings.
The best answer that anyone can provide you is one that is successful at translating the meaning of scripture according to the Creator's immutable order of Nature and its laws, including the eternal law. We are capable of understanding all of this. For it is written upon their hearts and consciously these attributes are clearly seen. These laws precede any biblical covenants and are self-evident. They were made a part of every covenant henceforth and cannot be abolished.
>“Because the thing known of God is clearly known in them, for God revealed it to them. For the unseen things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things made, both his eternal power and Divine Nature, for them to be without excuse.” - Romans 1:19-20.
This is the incontrovertible issue that faces all of us. In the book of Genesis, we are told to take 'dominion' over the earth, when really the more proper English translation should have been from its source word -- katakyrieuō meaning - to be master of, exercise lordship over. This is of course according to the Laws of Nature.
