Sorta new at this keeping chickens thing. I've got a hen that's clearly ill. What to do? Take to a vet? Euthanize it?

Close all your Local Schools, Bars, Restaurants and non Essential Businesses Immediately. Then... Eradicate anything White and denounce your Heritage and Religion. This... Should help, if not contact your Congressmen.

I'll also make all the other hens wear masks. They won't mind.

Ha, I could have filled this thread with "Solutions".

Where do you let her run? Keep her seperate, in the house if you can, good food and good water. Id do a quick overview of the area and make sure she didnt get into anything. I lost a few hens because dementia granny used to toss kitty litter in the yard and they ate all those pebbles.

She runs the entire, regular suburban backyard alll day. Her crop feels clear. She eats nice kibble, meal worms, scratch grain, and some of my garden.
What's odd, or a blessing, is that the others are fine.

what's its problem?

Really slow, head always retracted, appetite is down, and now an eye is partially shut.

Maybe isolate it, just in case...they eat much less when they are not laying...maybe she got her eye pecked? but doesn't sound good though...good luck

Thank you. The others seem fine, so that's good. Might have gotten bullied, she is the lowest in the pecking order.

Since you are new, i'll ask you this..Could it just be shedding?
