Where did all the Goats go? | Poal: Say what you want.

I wouldn't say it's stale, it just lacks a certain quality. There's tons of bots posting bullshit articles all over the place which kinda drowns out the quality posts. There's still good stuff here you just have to dig to find it. Or camp out in New.

I also miss the quality memes from HDLunited and Hiddenlol. There are counterparts here but I'm guessing some of the posters didn't come over to poal.

how do we turn this place around?

We need to advertise Poal on Reddit. By that, I mean we need to leave messages saying: "If you don't like how Reddit censors your speech, come to Poal."

Probably most people don't even know Poal exists. That's the problem.

While things are not entirely the same, it has been a good transition for me. I'm pretty sure a lot of goats went to other sites and some are here.

The content is different in some regards but that can be a good thing. I see some stuff here I didn't on Voat. I do miss things but overall the transition could have gone far worse.

I'm just happy there was a place we could go and a place that has welcomed so many people. Its still crazy being the refugee for a change.

One of the biggest things I think people can do is just contribute and in turn it makes the entire site a richer experience for all.

These days so many people get consumed by all the crap going on and forget to just enjoy the little things.
