Whether they be financial, emotional, etc. If you're comfortable, maybe share the state or region you're in? Looking to get my pulse on more human, emotional aspects in relation to the state of the country. Is there a sub for this, already?

The whole thing made us have to wait to move bc a bunch of rich people from cities like NY decided they were going to move to small, safe white towns. Housing is so much more expensive now because of them. It used to be easy to find a modest 2-3 bedroom for under $700 in small Appalachian mountain towns but now it's nearly impossible. Even in 2019 there were plenty of houses. If we'd known it would be so hard to move back we would have stayed. I just wanna go home, people are nicer there and it's safe. We moved temporarily bc of an emergency and as soon as we had our stuff ready to go no houses were available. And the sad part is we really need to move because I'm pregnant and the hospital here is sketchy. At this point we're looking in other places to move that have good hospitals, then we'll go home for real later. That's not fair though, we shouldn't have to move twice bc morons from the city realized they made a mistake living where they were. The corona bullshit has wasted a year of my life, making me live somewhere I hate. We don't have friends or anything bc people act ghetto or stupid here, even the few with kids are corrupt garbage or plain rude. It's so flat and ugly here and the weather is awful. If I had to live here my whole life I'd consider this a life not worth living tbh, it really is that bad. We need to go home. I've been checking Zillow and Craigslist daily for about a year now with no luck, I'm so depressed. All because corona virus BS scared people out of the cities.

I'm in the same boat, rural community with houses going for 20 % over asking (with some sold day one of the listing). Its really hard to do anything house shopping right now.
