This I kind of understand because it prevents people for making reservations and then not showing up. In addition, that $30 goes towards your bill and they tell you this when you make the reservation. Okay, fine, whatever. What they don't tell you upfront is that they also charge an additional 22% fee on top of your bill to help (and I qoute) "pay a living wage for the employees impacted by the epidemic". The part that is fucking bullshit is that they don't tell you this up front when you make the reservation. It's not clearly stated anywhere on their website either. If you wanna rip off your customers for some bullshit virtue signaling, that's fine. Go ahead. But at least inform the customer ahead of time so they can make an informed decision about whether or not they want to give you their money. That's some sheisty bullshit. Or shit, just charge a little extra on each menu item. But don't fucking trick people with this BS fee.
