If natural voting habits were allowed, youd see many more upvotes. youd see many more downvotes from low IQ people in place of rebuttal. But since downvotes are not allowed, the lack of an upvote has to suffice. Since no ones getting downvoted, no one tries to post content people want to see more no one tries to downvote brigade instead of using their brain, so the participation remains extremely low so low IQ morons and actual kikes are powerless and rage, and the overall level of discussion rises above "you're a jew!"as everyone looks at shit they would rather downvote. and that's good
You will occasionally see posts with lots of upvotes, thats what would be rising to the top of the pile were we downvoting the garbage. But nah, it all kinda just stagnates instead. Its the culture. reflecting the actual consensus

Nope, utter bs. i've rebutted several posts/ comments, just to have replies with variations of 'i dont believe this conversation is in good faith - therefore i wont be responding', to the most recent ' ... you just don't get it - i'm not wasting my time with you anymore'. Refusing to answer questions (showing to me at least - they lack ability to substantiate or prove their point), while claiming some type of moral superiority of why they will not continue to entertain what they see as ' rhetorical questioning' ... Bunch of dishonest cucks claiming 'its all about optics' ....

I've noticed that here alot too, comments using the edit function to delete things they get called out about (well thats my experience here) or using it to change the theme of what they're saying after the fact. Thats why i just add an edit at the bottom and leave my original comment unchanged...

That's why I think downvotes should come with a reply. Your downvote goes into a pending status and you have an hour to reply. If you don't reply, the downvote doesn't happen. To counter just random text and name calling on the reply, the account downvoted can contest it to the sub's mods.
That's way too much checks and controls to handle for the server and people moderating subs
Imagine if you had to validate every post with a downvote in a q sub....
Besides, some subs are owned by "system", there are no humans moderating anything, like s/news for instance if memory serves
I know it's messy, but it is a possible solution that would prevent downvote brigading.
