There may already be an African nation with an open-doors policy for American black migration. Worth checking out.

That's a solid assessment. It's going to take a complete North American clean-up, or we break up. If we choose option 1, it's going to be dirty as fuck. Complete removal of all undesirable elements. Starting with the tribe. Then the communists. And probably the eradication of several major cities.

The secession option is cleaner, initially. But...I understand the resistance to that route. Because the new countries might very well end up like the US did.

I tnink obviously the Chinese would be overjoyed if this happened, but it doesn't mean the idea is without merit. Clearly there are problems with the Union but you'd like to see genuine effort to address these problems rather than states just seceding.
