I work as a cashier at a grocery store and the most I should be seeing is $150.00 not even. Like $100 should be the most. Not an average of $250 when buying for a whole household. I've seen some go over $300
Edit: I think something President Franklin D Roosevelt did with the New Deal contributed to the rise in food prices
