You need to understand that everything that we ever see or hear an establishment politician do is theater. Just like every advertisement is literally a message from somebody else trying to manipulate you into spending your money in this or that way, every word that ever passes over the lips of a politician is meant to manipulate you into keeping them in power and allowing them to do what they want to do. Them showing you that they are angry does not mean that it is their honest emotional state, it means that they think they can benefit by making you believe that they are actually angry.

I expect that their honest emotional state is rather dispassionate and detached. They know the game and they have played it a long time. The reason they think it benefits them to make you believe that they're angry about Trump is that he wasn't part of their establishment and he didn't play the game by their rules. Therefore you are supposed to believe that you should treat Trump as anomaly to be upset about, and you should let them get back to playing the establishment game that they were playing for decades before Trump ever became president.

when you are owned, you don't get the option of quitting, the money is kickbacks yes, but regardless of how fast they spend it, they will be paid more for their complicit acts

think a mob boss paying a cop he's bought, regardless if the cop takes that particular payment or not, the mob boss will still expect his favours, so you might as well take it, that's their mentality at least I think.

I think in part they've become so attached to the lies they've been telling they want to maintain that narrative til the grave, because once they go out they think their "legacy" will be forever, remember obama and wanting "his legacy".
