My wife mentioned that I seem angry all the time now and some friends have suggested that I should take some time to unplug because of my comments during discussions.

People fear what they don't understand, and they don't understand the world as it really is.

Shocking them is not the way to help them see, they will reject out of hand as they have been programed to. Hiding your power level is not casting pearls before swine. Choosing the opportunity to point at clown world is more effective if they don't already think that you are already off the deep end.
