Almost every country on the planet EXCEPT the US has a law preventing non-residents from owning or purchasing land... the fact that the US does not have a law like this should tell you exactly what your masters think of this country.
...But here is the Black Pill: These laws typically mean nothing and do nothing if you are rich. I know a number of friends and relatives that have retired someplace warm and this is the process: You go and find a lawyer and pay them to do the following:
- Form a corporation which the lawyer owns.
- Write up a contract where the buyer has a contractual perpetual right to use the assets of the company as if they owned them as well as a bunch of clauses like a purchase option and prohibition of transfer etc. This makes the buyer have all of the rights of being the owner of the business while technically the lawyer is the true 'legal' owner.
- Buyer pays the corporation the price of the house for compensation for the above contract.
- Corporation buys the house
- The foreign buyer now has a house that they effectively own but not legally own.
...and the 'lawyer' collects a 'reasonable fee' from you each year forever. Typically this costs about 1 month of mortgage payments to set up and about half that every year to maintain.

I don´t know where you got that from, in Europe as long as you can pay for it, you can buy whatever house you like even if you live abroad. There are plenty of foreign funds buying homes to let, as an investment.

So this is my experience in any location I have looking to and I have looked into a number of places. I have strongly considered buying a 'bolt hole' in case things get to bad here. In every place I looked it was always one of two scenarios. 1) Foreigners cannot own land so you go find a lawyer or 2) Foreigners can own land but only 'With prior approval from the ministry of such and such.' which translates to 'you have to bribe a politician.'
Fuck Europe, personal storry. I was set to inherit a million from a dead relative. The state came in and said were taking 78% of the funds and leaving you with 22% post tax. The kicker? There was a house involved. So they said i had to sell it at market value. The house was worth 750,000 and no one in the country could afford it. It was eventually sold to a foreigner who payed cash for it. So let me see, the state robbed my funds, robbed my house, robbed me of my assets, and then told me its to pay for the social services i wasnt receiving. They fucking laughed at my face too when they gave me the bill, like i was daft to expect any kind of retribution from the state. Seriously, as an American, Europe is beyond fucked at this point
The way the slant eye fucks get away with it here is they put their slant eyed offspring in the house while they go to school on full out of country tuition rates. Once "educated" and on their way to infiltrating the country through the broken immigration system they gift the house to the kids then they move to America once the kids now full citizens sponsor them. Rinse repeat.
That's incorrect. A lot of industries, farmlands and property is owned by foreigners in Australia, much of it by China.
Oh, and China owns our water too. Think of that. The most arid continent in the world and our own government lets China buy our water.
