Nothing major is going to happen in 5 years, but US is going to fall eventually, and some of the states will desperately want to secede from the union, which then will create a huge power vacuum to be filled by another powerful nation at that time. At this rate, China will be that powerful nation. So if you want to face to the future, better learn Chinese.
