>This is a simple coronavirus, aka the common cold.

>Coronaviruses vary significantly in risk factor. Some can kill more than 30% of those infected, such as MERS-CoV, and some are relatively harmless, such as the common cold.[50]
That's the propagandized version - here's one from before the over 500 edits that have occurred in the last year alone.

SARS-CoV had up to a 10% mortality rate. No mention of MERS-CoV mortality rate being 30%
I'm not following the reasoning here, the wiki page got new entries added, ok, but what then?
>11 March 2019
>Middle East respiratory syndrome (MERS) is a viral respiratory disease caused by a novel coronavirus (Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus, or MERS‐CoV) that was first identified in Saudi Arabia in 2012.
>Coronaviruses are a large family of viruses that can cause diseases ranging from the common cold to Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS).
>Approximately 35% of reported patients with MERS-CoV infection have died.
Just as fake and gay as the latest coronavirus.
this may be an overestimate of the true mortality rate, as mild cases of MERS may be missed by existing surveillance systems
