Yeah in the myth Freyja's a big old whore. What's interesting is Frigg and Freyja were probably not two distinct Goddesses originally, but the identity of each likely grew apart as different traditions developed in isolation. When those different traditions merged again in what became known as Norse Mythology, the two goddesses retained their separate identities. And there you have the female duality. Wife, mother, homemaker on one side of the coin; big ol' whore who'd do a gangbang for a nice necklace as long as she thought no one would find out on the other.
