Some people like things like seasons -- crisp fall saturdays, building snowmen with their kids, the optimism of spring, a summer that isn't completely insanely scorching, etc
Also some people like the grit of the Northeast cities. Especially places where people are REAL people and not fake: Philadelphia, non-Manhattan portions of NYC, Baltimore, etc. Miami is fine for those that don't like that, but not my cup of tea.
People are different. Lets embrace the fact that we have options and the freedom to chose them.

- The bugs die in the winter. So no terribly scary insects can wreak havoc (termites)
- Some people enjoy winter sports (I dont thiugh)
- Too much family here to leave...which might be their reason too...
- No hurricanes, earthquakes, tropical storms, etc
- Autumn is a season worth living for

I used to think "warm climate" mattered. Fact is, only California and Hawaii have climates that are truly ideal year-round, but they are communist shitholes. I am tired of living in a communist shithole. I have learned that a beautiful spring and summer in a free state, with natural beauty and liberty-minded people is a far superior choice.
