Can anyone recall or find a cartoon im thinking of with my vague recollection of it?

I saw an image online of a t-rex that made me think of a cartoon i saw when i was a kid, and i only have a single small clip of the cartoon in my memory.

This cartoon would be from the 90s, possibly late 80s

I recall for sure the dinosaur was a t-rex and i remember it biting through a box or crate with a close up on its head, that im pretty sure was filled with cereal. I think cereal was a central part of the plot of this movie/series. i think the dinosaur was blue or purple. And i think i recall the cereal was glowing with light or something...

Update: ok i just remembered some more the cereal or whatever it was was some sort of magical food that gave the consumer of it powers. And this dino went and ate a shitload of it

I dont think so. I didnt have cable for most of my childhood. And i never liked tranformers.

I guess its possible anyways, do you have a clip of something like im describing?

Well purple Dinosaur could mean Trypticon, and glowing-cereal-as-plot-point could be energon

Im looking for vids on it and dont see anything familiar. I think the cereal gave special powers to whoever ate it and i think the idea behind the t rex eating it all was to make one wonder how powerful it would get

I had an optimus prime semitruck thst i thought was cool.

I think i didnt watch transformers because we had no cable and by the time i got older i wasnt interested anymore the newer movies were terrible imo. I even saw headlines highlighting the top 10 plot holes and it made me think people were just watching random clips with sound effects. Made me feel like i was surrounded by npcs

What generation are you? Were talking about 50 years of potential cartoons here. Like for me, a genx, a dinosaur themed cereal could be Dinersaurs, but the theme doesn't match your example. "Comic Strip" cartoons had some obscure cartoons; short lived series. Is it a kiddie type cartoon or kind of a pre-teen, older child range cartoon?

Ive got another movie im trying to recall t ive been posting online for 10 years and never found.

Im pretty sure the cartoon has personified cats and mice, and i think the mice were the antagonists who were trying to turn the globe into cheese.

I remember there being a giant globe they were using to talk about their plan. And at the end of the movie someone gets rolled over by the globe of cheese.

I also remember a scene where the cat protagonist is either thrown in prison or the sewer and he falls in a puddle of cheese

I think there is a lot of talk about factories making cheese in the movie too.

This may or may not have been a Christmas movie

Its from the 90s, posdibly late 80s.

Land before time was another cartoon i didnt like and i remember not seeing much of it anyways. But i think its possible that could be it. Were there any time traveling themed versions of that franchise?
