Don't use a company build your own system, preferably one that has flame throwers and hidden arrows. Then notifies 911 after all the traps have been triggered.
Not sure, but if you're young (and thus have plenty of time on your hands) build your own!
Couple of cameras that connect to your wifi. Motion detectors at entrances. All running over your wifi. A small computer (raspberry pi) to run a program that waits for a signal from the motion detectors, and then starts cameras recording and calls your phone, you then use your phone to connect to the cameras to check what's going on, and can call the police if a nigger broke in, or send a false alarm if it was just coat that fell off the rack. Sounds like a fun project!
Also, if you can't get a hold of firearms, get a Crossbow, or take up archery.

Shotgun. Long barrel is legal at 18 in all states. Knives are legal. Bats are legal. If I recall 6 minutes is this nations BEST police response time. Whole lot of you dying can happen in six minutes.

If you're thinking about a home security system, it might benefit you to also look for places which will teach you how to defend yourself as well.
I probably will at some point
