Why they do it so much probably has to do with them being engaged in rotten shit constantly. And I am not necessarily putting the evil/karma into the supernatural sphere of things, these dark thoughts/deeds and the knowledge that one is engaged in them requires releasing these thoughts or they will consume you mentally. The Cremation of Care ceremony at Bohemia Grove is a famous example of communal karma/mind cleansing.

The more they project and then do what they are accusing, the more confusion is created. The more confusion created, the easier it is to seize power.
