Dupes, right? I keep seeing this idea that some newly awakened normy horde is gonna change anything.

So I'm trying to imagine a scenario in which they have any value to contribute.

What i land on is basically "when the narrative shifts to give them psychological permission to collaborate, they can be gamed to take bullets and distract responses."

Robots will never replace enough to matter that way until they are capable of replacing EVERYTHING. So even if that were the case then the people at the top would pick the population that would be capable of advancing towards that goal and maintaining it.
