Easy enough request. I'm not versed in good leather boots but need a pair.

SHTF. I would like boots that could: stay warm during winter months in the north + water proof + ice resistant + leather is an absolute must.

is suggesting Hiking Boots which seems better.

Anything that separates you from the ground is worth spending money on.

Shoes, tires, mattress/bed, airplane, tent, sleeping bag, house foundation, etc.
