Back when TV was black and white, we had laws concerning content. All controversial subjects were supposed to get equal time and discussion. But over time those laws were lobbied away by Hollywood Jews. We could really use those laws today, but apparently the jews had more foresight than "we the People".

Uh, that "Fairness Doctrine: was some more shit like war is peace and slavery is freedom.

It would have been used to silence the right and the sane.

RickJocko is correct, it was to be put in place to end conservative talk radio because other than NPR, leftist talk radio is nonexistent.

It takes rich jews and lots of gov't money to keep NPR propped up.....

That would be a lovely answer but unfortunately the Fairness Doctrine was in full force for damn near 20 years before the advent of NPR. The corporation for Public Broadcasting didn't begin until after Johnson signed the public broadcasting act of 1967 into law. NEXT!
