Natalism (also called pronatalism or the pro-birth position) is a belief that promotes the reproduction of human life. The term comes from the Latin adjective for "birth", nātālis. Natalism promotes child-bearing and parenthood as desirable for social reasons and to ensure the continuance of humanity. Natalism in public policy typically seeks to create financial and social incentives for populations to reproduce, such as providing tax incentives that reward having and supporting children. Those who adhere to more strict interpretations of natalism may seek to limit access to abortion and contraception, as well. The opposite of natalism is antinatalism.

I believe it was a doom faggot by the name of Gary Immendam. or DoNotGod who first proposed antinatalism on Youtube. I took over that sub on Voat and used it as my personal sub, so I recreated it here. Just a name, most of the content I post there isn't true to it. Mostly. My latest post does involve the Cathars, and they were antinatalist.

To answer your question, one would be antinatalist if they thought this world was evil, and creating another life to live here would be cruel.

Well the original creator of v/antinatalism had a sense of humor. He named the sub the "T4 Euthanasia Program" (Nazi program to kill retards) and it was pro-gamer & anti-feminist.

Had some cool CSS going on too, made the sub very hard to see correctly if you didn't know how to disable it. Most of the features like vote buttons were hidden.

I discovered it while looking into the subject of antinatalism. They have a fairly active sub on plebbit. Most of them seem to be commies crying about capitalism though.

Nazi Germany DID HAVE a very strong birthing (pro-natalist) program to try and improve the quality of Germans.
