Well technically it has to do with the size of the grind, Temperature of the water, quality of the water (TDS), The amount of time those grounds are exposed to the water. Let's be honest though, real men don't worry about those things as much as if it works and how long until it does.
so since you know those things your not a real man because you thought about them?
