How do you make the perfect pot of coffee? I have found that the very first cup of coffee out of a pot is magic - assuming you get it right when it brews and then let the rest of the pot brew. How do you get the whole pot like that?

It does. I run hot and cold on it. I'll drink a lot of it and then not touch it for a long period of time.
