I lost 30 pounds in 6 weeks... from 210 to 180... I ate basically poke Howell veggies and chocolate milk lots of water.. ran mon/ wed/ fruit and lifted same days working out helps for sure... one meal a day but snacked as well just not crazy amounts...

Good for you. However, exercise is not needed to lose fat. exercise is good for toning etc. Glucose is the source of food that makes fat. ALL carbohydrates are glucose.
