Government mandate, so I need to wear one to enter a store, or when walking around at the office (sitting at a desk are exempt) but I work outside 99% of the day, so I don't have to wear it, and when I do wear one its a very obnoxious demon skull gaiter style face covering, so even though people can't see my emotions behind a mask, they still automatically know I wish they would just fuck off.

I live in a very liberal part of CA and most people don't wear masks outside, only in stores. I've never once been stopped or harassed about it and I don't know anyone who has. I don't think it's a partisan issue anymore. People are tired of wearing them. The media just plays up the karen incidents to make people think it's still a left/right issue when really everyone is just about done with this shit.

You also have the right to not give them your money if they're going to make you wear a cuck-muzzle. Find a place that won't give a shit and shop there instead. Tell them (politely, of course) that you're doing so, and you may find they value your shekels more than your covering your face.
Good point. It's kind of hard to do that where I live but I'm going to try to find alternatives.
I guess I'm rather spoiled where I'm at. Not one single place, large or small, has given a shit about me not covering my face. Even when I went to vote (for all the good it did, apparently), they were more worried about getting people through quickly than having a mask argument.
The vast majority of people still comply, because they're sheep, but not one of them has said anything to me.

No. I’m gonna say for sure at least a third of us around town never do, but when you factor in people not at work out on the town, that would get it over 50% And interestingly enough, most city and county workers don’t comply.
I feel sorry for those folks forced to wear at work, but you know, retail and restaurant work has always sucked.
