If your just now starting your to late.
Buy real property and the means to defend it.
I'd say buy silver, but bullion is sold out everywhere and has been since March when the rona hit.
put your USD savings into BTC
If we are talking about total economic collapse, which at this point would realistically be accompanied by destruction of the power grid, what are you going to be doing with your crypto or even gold or silver. If someone stumbles into my apocalypse palace with a bag of coins, what use does that have for me? Clean water and food and the ability to produce such, along with simple tools, will become beyond value.
With a little ingenuity you could utilize .9999 fine silver bullion coins from Canada (maples) to make colloidal silver. As well as drop pure silver ingots into your long term water storage containers. This will help certain (not all) liquids store longer with out bacterial contamination.
Dropping silver ingots into wine barrels and water jugs was an old world preservation technique when sailers were stuck on a wooden trade ship for months at a time.
Do you have any idea if how much is needed? Asking for a friend.
The method for creating your own colloidal silver shouldn’t be too hard to find. I remember watching several different videos on it just a couple years ago. It involves running some voltage through purified water and utilizing .9999 grade silver . The fourth 9 in the purity grade designates it as lab quality purity. Using three 9 Eagle bullion coins might not be pure enough to create a medicine out of I don’t know. But you could sure as hell use the three 9’s bullion to melt and pour your own sterile silverware since you won’t be washing your hands much anymore during shtf
Good points.
Bitcoin/crypto would be the most liquid. Gold. Guns? Real estate?
Crypto is just a new way to track, trace, and tax everyone.
