And the only reason the idiots who never served can start those wars in the first place is because of those in the service who obeyed even though the orders are plainly unconstitutional.
Forgive me if I'm not thrilled with the idea of handing the reigns exclusively to the group who has served as the mailed fist of Zion for decades.
That is not how military service works. You do what you are told regardless of whether or not you agree with it, soldiers are not constitutional lawyers and should not be expected to be. There are limits of course, but in a general sense if the order has come down from the highest levels you follow it or you shouldn't have signed up in the first place.
You do what you are told regardless of whether or not you agree with it,
And once they're out I should trust that they will all of a sudden snap out of their blind obedience and have good discernment regarding the working of the nation? Hiding behind "I'm just following orders" is exactly how we'll see the US military turn their weapons against we "domestic terrorists".
It isn't blind obedience, it is doing your job. Like 99% of the people in this country, a soldier has to do things they don't agree with as part of their job. I did a lot less stuff that I disagreed with in the army than I do in my day job and my day job is a pretty vanilla day job, and that includes my tour of Iraq. Did I want to be there? No. Did I think we should be over there? No. But it wasn't like I was ordered to go kill a bunch of orphans or give a rabbi a BJ. Sure as hell changed my politics though and now I am about as anti-war as a hippy (though obviously for different reasons).
