I've had them for years, but wondering if anyone else has gotten them especially recently. You can get some cheap ones and use them without a license as long as they aren't too powerful. A baofeng uv-5r is very inexpensive. Just thinking if they eventually cut off all communication and we are close enough we can piggy back information along, shit talk, and pass memes through words.
I see a lot of guys on here trying to meet and while I am at the point I know how you feel this might help you guys. There are others out there possibly transmitting with these. You can press a button and scan. I'm just not going to live in fear. We could come up with a channel to use just to chat and see. It is up to you guys.

As a PSA I recommend using a VPN at all times and using encryption on all your devices. Even though we are all upstanding folks (besides you pieces of shit feds) nobody likes government oversight. Protect yourself.
