I threw away two computers with a lot of good data on them instead of repairing them due to a massive brain fart. No backups, garbage truck's long gone. How do you suggest I replace the data on these two computers?

Here's an idea to get help.

Go to landfill, say:

My girlfriend got mad at me and threw away 2 of my computers. All of my family photos and memories, pictures of my grandma...

And then the real kicker: "Also one of those computers have my bitcoin wallet on it and Im offering a reward if one of your trashmen find it."

Those trashmen always keep an eye out for valuables to propel their side hustle. They set aside tvs and computers and electronics sometimes.

You could have the whole dump on an easter egg hunt by offering a reward.

Dont put a number on the reward, and if they ask beat around it and say "well bitcoin is at $40k right now, it depends on how fast they can find it."

When and if they find the computers, dont be a stinch give them $100 at least.

This may only work if youve very recently thrown it away.

Worth a shot!!!

Cheers!
