That's something I never thought of personally.

Personally, I'd change high school and get rid of algebra and trigonometry and other classes we don't use in lieu of teaching students how to network for their careers, file taxes, find jobs, and giving more trades to choose from, like LPN, Medical Assistant, Welder, Painter, and even Barber. It gets kids out of college so we can decrease college's sphere of influence over the American mind, buying my assistants and I more time to brainstorm ideas and implement them to purge universities of their current problems.

get rid of algebra and trigonometry

This is vital in many trades. I work in forestry, and a clear understanding of basic math is extremely important. If all the fat was cut from the social justice curriculum and we taught didactically again, algebra and basic trig would be taught in middle school.

I suppose, but for most people it's not very useful.

Nah man all construction ever uses trig. I mean any time you have to figure angles and length to make something work. Algebra can be applied to grocery shopping (or doing your taxes). Filing taxes changes from state to state, country to country, networking changes depending on your field of career, but basic math applies to pretty much everyone, and algebra and trig are pretty basic. Thousands-of-years old basic. They are both super useful tools that everyone should know how to use.

I could understand exempting calculus, but eventually that's going to become commonplace too. It's only a few hundred years old - when it gets to the age of alg/trig, it will be equally important. If niggers don't destroy civilization first that is.

People use algebra every day, even if they don’t recognize that’s how they’re figuring things out.
