Because it it hard to admit you are wrong. I just recently came to the realization Trump is a fraud. I really believed he would make America great again, be more transparent, publicly declassify and expose the corruption. But all he did was pander to niggers and jews, half build a wall, signed horrendous budgets and got totally played for a fool by china and the democrats in congress. Its painful to face a reality where you were lied to and were frankly, wrong. Never again will I believe something is happening unless I see it with my own eyes. It is humbling to realize that even with all of my knowledge on propaganda, human psychology, cognitive processes and sociology; I can still fall victim to a selection bias when I truly hope for something to be true.
