Just checked the logs and it says you've been naughty with the downvote on a specific user. This is an anti-brigading and vote targeting algorithm.
So, downvoting is punished with downvoting. Doesn't sound petty or hypocritical at all....
People are being punished for using the site's features.
The snowflakes running this site should just remove the downvote button if it hurts their feelings that much.

I don't think the people running this website are being snowflakes. I think they're trying to make sure small groups don't take control. They're trying to prevent vote-brigading. Maybe the system they chose sucks, but that's what I believe.
