Well you can, but then you have to go explain yourself infront of a jury, but I just mean I don't remember people being visited by the police or swat ever defending themselves properly. They always get mowed down, so when patriotic people say things like "if those gun grabbing faggots come for me i'll be ready", I think eh right but are you ready for 4am no knock raids because you said something against the state 5 years ago?
