On November 8th, 1923 the NSDAP, led by Adolf Hitler, made their voices heard by force in what will forever be known as the Beer Hall Putsch. It failed in the short term. People were killed, people were arrested, and some were put to death for treason.

But in the long term, this event was a catalyst for the great awakening of a people long under seige by a shape-shifting power. They came to see the truth in the words spoken by NSDAP.

Will history hold today's events in DC in the same light? A failed larp in the short term that leads to a great awakening? We can hope. But direct action and continuing to push will make it so.
