Am I missing something? I get no downvotes but it should be pretty simple get a lot of upbotes move to the top?

(IMO) If you click TOP, you'll get the one with the highest score.

If you click HOT, you'll get the one that's 'rising' the quickest. It may not have as many upvotes but it got what is has, quickly.
