Got hooked on spades in county, graduated to pinochle, but disliked skill with lack of variety in gameplay though bidding according to spread is cool. Finally tackling bridge, which is fucking sweet, but logistics of scoring I'm still trying to get, but I'm only a day in.

Love rummy, not sure if there's a difference with gin

Gin is a two player game. It plays like rummy, but you have to go out (lay down) all at once, so you have to have 3,3,4 (of a kind, or runs) and a discard. Loser deals to 11 cards to the winner and 10 cards to himself, and the first discard begins the game.

I see. 5 crowns is similar with special cards. I dig it, but not as challenging as the others
