I just posted an image link hosted on catbox.moe, it was automatically rehosted on Pic8.co.

Why is there only one image host on Poal.co?

Why is Pic8 forced on users?

How many morons have already forgotten what happens when you depend on a single image host?

So made pic8 mandatory and now is asking for money "because of the influx".

Pic8 isn't running bad because of the influx, it's running bad because the admin forced it to become overloaded.

There's always a SPF when it comes to a website with domain name.

The way to mitigate the risk is to use a decentralized DNS registrar. but, the nature of the traditional DNS system implies a SPF.

Not a bad idea to have an option to just backup the image to pic8, but serve the original image link. Feel free to post that suggestion in
