they went from the station wagon to mini van. they grew out of the dreaded soccer mom van into the Jeep Cherokee for the soccer mom thing. They also started going into bigger vehicles with the mindset that bigger = "safe" Then you have midlife crisis mom that gets the jeep wrangler or younger girls get it for "muddin" even though they never go after that first part breaks due to doing something dumb.
