I'm all for discipline, but ten days is excessive. 24 hours? Fine. 48 hours? Maybe. Anything much beyond that is going to disrupt the metabolism of a growing child, plus you run the risk the child may take to the idea (Anorexia, Bulimia, etc.). Spanking and switching is okay for serious infractions. The problem with child discipline is a double-sided coin. Too many lazy/oblivious parents (mostly libtards) that exercise zero discipline on their lil ferals, vs wannabe dictators/control freaks that rule over their kids with an iron fist. A good parent is somewhere between these two extremes.
