I disagree. I went to bed many nights not eating and refusing shit dinner for breakfast. Hunger only motivates when you feel the edge of death creeping in.
I’m sorry you were served “shit dinner”. Hopefully that means crap junk food and not just a brat refusing to eat his vegetables. Also, do you have children? Perhaps it’s a male vs female perspective, and yes, there is such a thing as tough love, but withholding 10 days of food from your child is so counter intuitive to a parent (mom’s perspective) that it never enters the realm of possibility. There are plenty of alternate motivators. While I don’t disagree that hunger is a powerful motivator, in this hypothetical situation, it is most certainly abuse.
