Farmer friend buys RedHead® from Bass Pro. Borrowed a pair once for a week, not bad for $12, lifetime guar. They claim made in the USA but I don't trust any boxstore on that.

Good to hear you like them, will check out Darn Tough for lighter weight as my working in the cold days are done. Newbie here, but seems like (as with voat) can read pretty quick who is full of 💩 on useful, applicable advice and can tell you're far from that.

Black cotton socks don't stink but synthetic ones do for some reason. Black socks never stop putting off lint, I think they use bargain basement cotton in them since they are going to dye it midnight anyway. White socks are good for no lint after two washes. Source, longtime black sock wearer. White socks are for dweebs.
