I bought a new used high end plasma TV today and just finished calibrating it. Now I'm going to prepare a cup of tea and watch a movie.

What do you have going on?

I love mine, it does beans super quick, frozen chicken to ready to eat in less than an hour, easy set and forget boiled eggs, cheese cake... What are your favorite things to do in it?

Soups, stocks and beans cause winter. My fav is chickpeas for hummus, cook a batch, divide into ball jars, add a little cooking liquid then freeze. A cheap, fresh bowl of hummus just minutes away.. Did you just get the Oui for Christmas? Reddit has a good pressure cooking sub I lurk recipes from..

You mean the pressure cooker? Nope I've had it about a year now.

I haven't tried freezing things in jars, do you find it difficult to keep from breaking? I usually freeze things in a pot or bowl then put in a ziplock.

The ball jars freeze great, never had a explosion lol knock on wood.. I’ve tried to get away from plastic storage, I’ve canned a lot, so I ended up using jars for everything..
