Posts can be reported as SPAM o the admins. That's one way to do it.

I don't really think Q crap is necessarily always SPAM, although I really do prefer it if they'd keep their hopium in their own little worlds.

I think this is the trouble though. The user guide makes it seem as if we have the freedom to downvote spam, but it doesn't seem like that has any teeth. It needs to be the case that either we clearly do have downvote power for certain things (and make it clear what that is), or we just lose the downvote ability altogether. It seems awkward as fuck as it stands. On the one hand, you tell people to use the downvote for such and such a purpose, but you never really give them the means to defend their use of it (unless the admin happens to agree with you about your decision to downvote).

AOU doesn’t need any reason whatsoever to nuke an account. You have 1 downvote. You could be nuked at any time and blamed for that one downvote you made 7 days ago. You’re better just not ever using it so they have absolutely no claim when they nuke you. In reality the downvotes don’t even matter. I see people with horrible ratios who aren’t nuked.

It’s pure mod discretion. You can downvote 0 things and get nuked. This is a fact. Also who the fuck is this PMYB2 guy? Is he the non retard admin on this website? Maybe they should just tell us exactly how the “algorithm” works. Wanna know why they wont? Because it doesn’t exist and if it does it only notifies. Read my thread for proof the mods nuke purely by discresion. You could have literally 0 downvotes on your account and if you make a mod mad he can nuke you and then never explain why. How do I know this? It happened to me. In reality it’s just they hate people from voat.
