I sure feel like I did.

In the beginning, I was showing people videos of Chinese dying in the streets, telling them to buy masks, making fun of the CDC for telling people to not mask up. It's exactly that kind of thing that may have helped push the current narrative, which I completely disagree with.

Did someone tap into meme and truther culture to kick off this whole lockdown? Did we get used, successfully?

Only morons did. I noticed from the very beginning that reddit, voat and other places were promoting the idea of "chink flu" and I felt uncomfortable promoting the same ideology shared by the biggest sheepest morons on Voat. I'm going to find my posts just to prove how fucking stupid people were at the beginning of this shit.

I member when I'd make posts about wuhan and Italy being pollution hotspots with yearly highs in winter, they get downvoated pretty fast.

Yeah. It was around that time when I completely lost faith in Voaters. Voat by then had become an empty shell of what it once was. A place full of critical thinkers.
