help me out here. I am trying to make sure I can survive if things get bad.

also, i'm thinking of switching to satellite internet. which actually won't be too expensive but it seems like a good point to make.

Cleaning supplies. Paper towels, toilet paper, wet wipes, hand sanitizer (I know, yuck, but if water's in short supply...), portable potty, thermal blankets.

I agree with another poster, beans and rice never made sense to me. Anything you can eat straight from the can, and rotate. Shelf-stable foods. Some are not too bad, tho arguably not real food. Remember pet food, if you have pets. Rope, twine (you never know).
