I never researched abut gypsies specifically, since they seem too irrelevant as race.

Unfortunately I don't know of any such incident and I don't think they were ever expelled. On the contrary, they always manage to go wherever they like and just take over some random land and the landowner tries to evict them but he can't because muh rights.
