I feel like my problem solving skills have gone to shit. How does one most efficiently see what subs exist, how many users they have and how active they?

For instance, I considered asking what people planned to make for dinner on New Year's Day. I managed to figure out p/cooking exists. But I don't know what else or if it's the best choice for such a discussion.

How would I go about that?

Lol. Just realized my entire problem was using a cell phone and holding it the wrong way so I was just ignoring the sidebar. Fuck I'm an idiot!
