Hahahaha. I've never been sure how much of Voat was real, organic users and how much was something else. And not just one something else, but a mix.
I have always said, I liked Voat best when I joined. Everyone was open to discuss anything. If people disagreed they discussed. Upvotes were rare and given for good points (even if you didn't agree). Downvotes were almost exclusively for spam, illegal content or being way off the topic.
But I also admit to enjoying the spectacle of shitposting, trolling, pure dark humor, etc. so as Voat changed I stuck with it. It wasn't what it had been, but I was still having fun, even if some of it was bots and Feds.
