Angry Goy 3
This game doesn't exist (yet) and it's meant as a reference to Angry Goy 2, which you can download . Quite a lot of anons would like to update the game but can't because they don't have the source.
However, I'm learning the engine to make more generic stuff, not just clone some game.
Platforms
I exclusively use linux, so I want linux. Most people use windows or mac, so I want those as well. Smartphones and consoles would be nice to have, but I don't use those, so I don't care.
features
Check, we agree here. I've been thinking about löve, but that's 2d only, which would waste my skill in 3d modeling. Then there's unity, gamemaker, unreal, and some other closed source engines, which are closed source force me to read license agreements. Then there are a few libs and mini-toolboxes, which look too limited and lowlevel for me and only support linux. And then there's godot.
Server Side
I know how to write server backends. However, I haven't yet looked into godots networking, so we'll see. In any case, I'd be perfectly content with creating singleplayer games.
In any case, you were badmouthing godot, but didn't name a better option so far.
Can you handle heaps/haxe?
No? Thought so
Ah, that's why I had you blocked. You can't behave.
Listen, the scrolling in your game above, it's jerking, for a reason
If you're happy with that then continue
